Therapeutic Services

Whole body philosophy

All human life experiences impact both the body and the brain. For true healing, change, and growth to occur, the whole body must be included in the therapeutic process. At EPIC Possibilities, the therapist focuses on treatment that addresses the full experience of the individual—social, emotional, mental, and physical. Through this integrative approach, clients have demonstrated meaningful relief from a wide range of physical and mental health symptoms. This philosophy allows the therapist to tailor care to the unique needs of each client using evidence-based, research-supported strategies.

Treatment Strategies

Healing from trauma requires approaches that work with both the mind and body. At EPIC Possibilities, therapy is grounded in evidence-based strategies proven to support lasting change.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is the primary modality used in treatment. ART helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer produce overwhelming emotional or physical reactions. Research has shown ART to be effective in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, phobias, and addiction-related concerns.

Additional trauma-focused treatment options include Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Exposure Therapy, allowing care to be individualized based on each client’s needs, preferences, and clinical presentation.

Listen to a podcast where Lauren and Denise (DH Therapy Services) talk more about these treatment strategies and about finding a therapist that is right for you.
